We are Dave & Amy Pluth . Our family is currently four Brittanys , Charles, Jessie, Sam and Abby. We live in Chaska , MN . We have had Brittanys for over 15 years. We have showed and hunt tested with our older dogs and done hunt tests and shoot to retrieves with the younger ones. While we did breed and raise one litter of puppies, it isn't our primary reason to have our dogs. We believe Brittanys are the ultimate companion animal that you can do pretty much anything you want with. They just aren't for everyone.

Our first Brittany was Maggie. She was probably the smartest one we have had so far because you could pretty much teach her to do anything and then she would do whatever she wanted to do instead. Charles came to live with us so Amy could show a dog. We had a great friend that raised & showed Shih Tzu's that got her interested in it. However, her dogs were a lot of work and a lot of hair. So, we decided to stick with what we had. Jessie came next because we wanted to try a liver Brittany to show. The time spent on the road in the United States and Canada introduced us to many wonderful people who are still our friends today. Sam arrived when we were already working on getting Jessie to do hunt tests. Once we started training for those, we even ran Jessie at a couple walking field trials. Sam, on the other hand, got Dave out doing something in the form of hunt tests and shoot to retrieve contests, which they both enjoy. Now, we own Abby. Abby was the result of looking for a dog for Dave with a little more boost and speed. We aren't quite sure what we will do with her, but whatever that is, she will excel at it.
